Her approach draws on design thinking, co-active coaching models, and participatory facilitation methods, helping businesses, nonprofits, and research institutions navigate complexity with both rigor and care.
Chisato holds a Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where her dissertation research on air pollution's public health effects helped shape the national policy on air pollution mitigation in Mongolia. She also co-founded SmartAir Mongolia, a social enterprise expanding access to affordable air purifiers.
She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of AAPIC North Bay, Advisory Board of Breathe Mongolia Clean Air Coalition, and as Board Member Emeritus of After the Fire USA (formerly Rebuild Northbay).
